Enigma Reaches Settlement With SEC, Agrees to Refund Harmed Investors


Privacy-focused blockchain project Enigma has settled charges with U.S. regulator SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), which labeled the project’s ICO as an unregistered securities offering. As part of the settlement, Enigma agreed to pay a $500,000 fine and register its tokens as securities.
